Sometimes in life, you feel you have lost everything. You gambled and you lost. At that point, everything is meaningless. But it's how you stand back up and have the courage to gamble again that makes life interesting. I am no fighter, just a normal girl with a normal life and always try to find something interesting to carry on. Always searching for that missing piece...
Sometimes in life, we only live for certain things. Life has become so routined...So so predictable, it as become boring...It is not suppose to be this way. What can we do but? Simple: change the way we think...It all depends on how you chose to look at life...
Live life to the fullest because it only happens once...

Walk the line

Just finished watching 'Walk the Line'. A very heart warming true story based on the life of Johnny Cash, a legendary musician in the 50-60's and his love June Carter. It's amazing how this story potrays the love of a man to a woman. Johnny and June had overcome so many difficulties along the way and finally they are together for a strong 30+ years. Both passed away in 2003. Johnny wrote in his biography:

"What June did for me was post signs along the way, lift me when I was weak, encourage me when I was discouraged, and love me when I was alone and felt unlovable. She is the greatest woman I have ever known. Nobody else, except my mother, comes close. "

And June wrote two beautiful poems to Johnny.

Tradition every year since I can remember...1st day is to my Ku Mah's hse, 2nd day is our open house, 3rd day is for friends and will visit my Kam Poh which is 90+ year old.

4) BTS and DOME
Initially, wanted to go for the rides but i chickened out....Sorry Mai and Su. Anyway, had a great time at DOME.

Changes....

People change...yes they do....it depends on whether they change to the better or worst. I've been to church last Sunday.Really don't know what prompted me to go. Deep inside, I feel lost and I want a sense of belonging. I do not know where to start and one of the church commitee told me to look for God with all my heart and I will be ok. I hope so. I've wanted to change but sometimes, factors are pulling you back. It really depends on one's courage and determination. I wanted to learn Mandarin and have said that like n years ago but never did learn. I've wanted to learn guitar since college time but never push myself harder to do it. I will complete all these this year. Wish me luck and pray for me.

2005...what a year it was...

Saturday morning again. A rainy one in fact. And I am all alone in the office. Sometimes I wonder, what the heck am I doing here? I should be resting more!!! But sigh....Things need to be done. It's ok, as long as I get the satisfaction and as long as I got to claim for it, muahahaha....

2005....Hmmm...what a year it was. This is my first post for year 2006....It's not to late to wish everyone a HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Yes, 2005...full of ups and down....full of surprises and the unexpected...It's really amazing that something can just change with a blink of an eye. But that's life. It's not at all a bed of roses. It's really how we pick ourselves up after a fall (as what someone told me). Well, as a summary, I think I have matured a lot (maybe got older), heheheh....2005 was a good year and hope 2006 will be better. In fact, I am going to make it better.

Resolutions? Nah, I think I'll skip this year. Anyway, resolutions do not come only once a year right?. Hey, we can have a new resolution everyday.

December 2005 was full of drama. Highlights:
1) trip to Melaka- there goes the diet plan...
2) trip to Penang- first time camping beside a beach and there goes the diet plan as well-> refer to to www.su_.blogspot for details. Me too lazy to blog it...
3) Christmas day- complicated!
4) New Year's countdown- in front of my house after a wedding dinner with.....my mum and her friends...cool right?

Well, need to focus now...on work and on life too. It's too short to be wasted...Live each day to the fullest!!!! Sayonara....

Another Saturday morning

Here I am again on a Saturday morning in the office. These couple of weeks has been hectic. Full of ups and downs. The happy times are just so happy and the sad moments are just so damn sad. Really has opened up my eyes to a lot of things. Maybe I am too naive at times. I can't see that things are just wrong at times and a little white lie can cover it up. I am too naive. Sigh...But I have realised it now and will try to be smarter. Everything has happened and nothing we can do about it but to try to mend things and work out the best. Face the challenges...

Well, these past few weeks is quite eventful I would say. Birthday celebrations for my dad and darling and annual dinner for RCC. Pictures coming later....Work is like hell and though very sien but i will not give up....Just do my best.....

Improving myself

The past couple of weeks have been quite busy and lazy at the same time. Weekdays are hectic
with work and when weekends come, you just feel like lazing at home and doing nothing. Not
good, not good...Shouldn't be wasting time like this. Life is too short. Lie is too precious
to be stuck in a routine-> work, rest, work, rest. So boring!!!So from today onwards, I want to try a lot of new things. To improve myself and to make those whom I love, feel proud. Well, there are a couple of things I want to improve or learn:

1) Learn massage
2) Learn cooking
3) Learn Mandarin
4) Save more money
5) Learn to regcognise roads well (I totally suck in this)
6) Read more!!! (not only mags)
7) Show those whom love me that I love them too
8) Find in a new challenge for my career

That's a lot of new resolutions. Will really put in effort to achieve them. so where do i
start? Oh yeah, I nearly forgot another one:

9) Getting fit and losing weight....

and we've decided that it will be 1 U's GSC and the second place goes to BTS's GSV. Both are
so cool and clean compared to the rest. And we love GSC more than TGV.
