This or that?
I am a fickle-minded person. Yes I am.
I can say one thing and do another thing the next moment. I think most girls are like that, right? Blame the hormones.
This gives the hubby headaches sometimes. Example, I said I want to go Pavilion on a Saturday but I can change my mind on Friday night to Mid Valley. I might have said I want to eat Japanese food for lunch but woke up in the morning and feel like eating western instead.
Hmm...but on the other hand, I am someone who likes planning ahead of things to do. How can I be fickle-minded when I have already have a plan? I don't know.
Also, I find myself very indecisive. Always debating myself even over small matters. Maybe that is why the amount of white hair I have doubled over the last year. Or maybe it's because of age. Yes, I admit I am getting old.
Thanks for reading my rant for today.

Caught my attention
Do big balls make for bad dads?
Taken from The Star.
"A new study suggests that men with larger testes are more built for a mating effort strategy, and as a consequence, are less built for nurturing children.

"A new study suggests that men with larger testes are more built for a mating effort strategy, and as a consequence, are less built for nurturing children.
A US study measuring fathering habits and testicle size suggested that bigger may not be better when it comes to the day-to-day raising of small children.
The research involved 70 US men of varying ethnicities – most were Caucasian, five were Asian and 15 were African-American. All were the fathers of children aged one to two.
The larger the volume of their testes, the less the men were involved in daily parenting activities like changing diapers, said the study by researchers at Emory University in Georgia.
In comparison, men with smaller testes showed more nurturing activity in the brain when shown pictures of their children, and also were more involved in their children’s upbringing, according to surveys answered separately by both the fathers and their female partners."

The day I slept the most...
2nd Sept.
The day I slept the most, since the last I can remember.
Food poisoning=fever=muscle ache=tiredness=sleep
Slept for most of the days. Woke to check emails for a while, couldn't stand stand the tiredness and slept again. Woke up to have lite porridge for dinner and then slept again, right till morning.
That's how my 2nd Sept 2013 went.
But the bright side of it, I have my dear sleeping beside me all the time. Yes, he got food poisoning too....Muahahahha *evil*

Alert alert!
Blog in critical condition!
Actually, it's been critical for quite some time...LOL...*slaps self for ignoring it*
This is year has one of the least blogging entries since I've started blogging. I blame it on work. But truth is, it's not all because of work. Laziness, lack of inspiration, laziness, occupied with personal stuff, laziness...
It started since 2004...8 long years! There's so much that has happened throughout all these years. I remembered I blogged most when I was at one of the lowest point of my life. It's an outlet for me. Eventhough I don't expressed much in my blog but each entry has a significant meaning back then.
Then life became busy and poor bloggie is eventually being ignored. I did make a resolution at one time to try to blog everyday, but as with most of my resolutions, it didn't work out...well, it did for the first few days/months...
I've actually contemplated to close down the blog but it still hold dear to my heart. *yes bloggie, I still love you*...Even if blogging is not the "thing" anymore. People are shifting to other trend like twitter, instagram, etc etc. I still find blogging the most convenient way to share thoughts and happenings.
So here I am, trying to reignite the spark. Hopefully, I don't give up half ...again...

Warms my heart
My mum has taken care of many kids and to see them grow up year by year just warms my heart. Some we only see once a year but nonetheless, I am sure they'll remember my parents when they're much older...
Oh...BTW, Happy Chinese New Year!!

Polygamy
I just watched a documentary on TV. It's about a guy who has 4 wives. And lots of children. Like 9 children and more to come soon as he juts got married, AGAIN.
He is still young, about mid 30's I think. Not bad looking at all.
Now, I know that's nothing unusual. Polygamy is normal and even certain religion allows it.
But what I feel so strange is, all his wives live together under the same roof. As a woman, I don't understand how they can share the man they love with another woman.
They even talk openly on how they feel about him, how they envy each other on the special connection each other them has with him.
It shows how this guy misses his wives at home when he's away on honeymoon with his new and latest wive, and she's pretty! And how his wives manages the children without him at home.
Gosh, I just feel that it's so weird.

Flying can make you fat!
For me, at least.
See, if you travel on business, you got a variety of food offered at the lounge. Mind you, you'll be tempted even if you've just had your breakfast or lunhc or dinner.
Then on board, you are served non-stop with snacks, alcoholic drinks, fattening food like beef, lamb, etc. Then, you do nothing but eat, then sleep, then eat, then sleep during the entire flight.
So you say lor, fattening or not??
But then, you can resist all those devil voices in your head and just say no!
Easier said than done though!

All things bacon!
This post is inspired by NDC.
He asked me to get him bacon muffin from the US. Then, bacon toothpaste followed by bacon perfume.
Out of curiosity, I googled those stuff. And to my surprise, bacon toothpaste does exist!

And a lot of bacon products too!!
See here.
Brushing your teeth with a strip of fried bacon is tricky. If it's too crisp it will break apart as you brush and if it's too limp you won't be able to remove any of the plaque. So when it's time to brush your teeth, leave the bacon strips for breakfast and try this Bacon Toothpaste. It's the perfect way to keep your teeth and gums healthy while coating your mouth with the delicious flavor of smoky meat! Each tube contains 2.5 oz of potent paste.
*disclaimer: Don't say I didnt warn you NDC. Don't use these products when you go dating! :P

Blur!!
Everyone has two sets of car keys right?
And each set should have the steering lock key as well.
Well, mine doesn't.
And today I took the pair without the steering lock key and I locked my steering in the morning after parking my car.
Imagine my disbelief when I want to go home! :O...
Something similar happened early last year where I left my key in the office and took the train to BTR only to find that I don't have my key.
How can I be so blur?? *slaps self*
Luckily, I am saved by my knight in shining armour..:P

Happy Valentine, not....
Taken from The Star:
----------------------------------------------------
PETALING JAYA: PAS has urged all quarters not to make Valentine's Day a “sinful sexual gratification” date.
Federal Territory PAS information chief Mohamad Suhaimi Abdul Aziz said Valentine's Day should not be promoted.
“It is sinful to promote Valentine's Day as it could lead to moral decadence, especially among youths,” he said.
The National Fatwa Council had in 2005 decreed that Muslims should not celebrate Valentine's Day as it had sinful elements forbidden in Islam.
“Free mixing of males and females has led to adultery, prostitution and other social menace including rape and baby dumping.
“Therefore, the media, restaurant operators, hotels and motels should not promote Valentine's Day or Lovers' day,” he said.
Previously, PAS Youth deputy chief Nik Abduh Nik Aziz had called on the Government to place advertisements on television ahead of Feb 14 to create awareness that it was against Islamic syariat to celebrate Valentine's Day.
PAS Youth will hand over a memorandum to Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim to prevent widespread promotion on the celebration at his office at 10am tomorrow .
Meanwhile, Malaysia Hindu Sangam has clarified that it is not against Valentine's Day.
Its president R.S. Mohan Shan said youths can celebrate Valentine's Day with their loved ones as long as they do not indulge in immoral activities.
“However, while we are not against it, we do not encourage the celebration either. This is because we should love each other every day and not just on that one day,” he said.
It was reported that the organisation had said it supported PAS Youth's call to disseminate anti-Valentine's Day messages on television.
Stressing that Valentine's Day was against the practices of Hinduism, itstreasurer G. Shanmuganathan said they supported initiatives to discourage such a celebration.
Mohan Shan said Malaysia Hindu Sangam did not support PAS Youth's efforts but upheld its own stand on the matter.
