50th Malaysia Cultural Performances

Venue : Bukit Jalil National Stadium
Tens of thousands of people...(about 50k)
2 million, 500 participants/ performers/ 1 year of preparation..
Rainy night that didn't hinder the performances (though I pity the VIP area - they have to sit in the rain)...
All in all to attend the 50th Malaysia Cultural Performances organised by MCA
Kicked off by local artistes perfomances and followed by lion dances, traditional dances and musical instruments and of course speeches by both President and VP of MCA...
But the main highlight is the duet between Erra Fazira and Michael Wong belting out Teresa Tang's Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin...Michael did an unplugged version of Tong Hua which got the crowd singing along, young and old, all seem to know how to sing it...And everyone started to leave as soon as Michael went off stage...Including us...:P And we got to witness the fireworks in the car...
It was a great effort for the show...And a great time spent with my family...
Thanks CY for the tickets...
