Basically covered most parts of Perak last weekend in just 2 days. Started off with a dimsum breakfast at Taman Connaught at 6am....
Then started our journey and reached Sungkai's hotspring and wasted no time in getting our feet wet in hot water.....First time I tasted egg boiled in natural hotspring.
Then we had lunch in Ipoh. What else to eat than Ipoh's famous hor fun, nga choi (tauge) and chicken.
Proceeded to visit the many famous caves in Perak - Kek Lok Tong, Sam Poh Tong and lastly, dropped by at Tasik Lang, which is famous because it is surrounded by mountains. Really really peaceful here. Unfortunately, we did not get to take to ferry to the small, man-made island as it was raining.
The we journey to Taiping to Chai Yee's po po house. We stayed there for the night. Went to Taiping Night Safari. Well, compare to A Famosa's Night Safari, Taiping's is not as good as it was too dark everywhere. Even the animals are harder to spot as the names of the animal and the cages are too dark. But it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Woke up early next morning and proceeded to have breakfast - Bak Kut Teh..near Taiping lake....Taiping lake is a sight to behold. It was really really scenic and breathtaking. We actually took a walk around the whole lake but it was a good exercise after the hefty breakfast. We started our journey home but not without stopping at Bidor for lunch. As usual, my favourite is the Duck Thigh mee......Delicious....
As some of you gals and guys found something common during our Melaka trip previously, well i found something common as well for this trip....Hehehe....Enjoy...
