House warming...

Went to a colleague's house warming yesterday night. Lovely house. Can't help but feel envy- she has such a nice house and we're about the same age. Beautiful home, cute dog and a loving hubby. So jealous. Anyway, it was a great night. Talking about a house, I did think of owning a house of my own....Just a small one will do....So I can choose whatever colour of paint I want, whichever decorations I want...It will be great. One of my dreams....

Movies, movies.....

These past weeks, I have watched a lot of movies- watching while working at home. Need some entertainment to keep me awake. Among them:

1) Sepet
2) Spirited Away
3) Princess Mononoke
4) Forest gump (again)
5) Taking lives
6) Big Fish
7) Brother Bear
8) Shutter

All are quite worth watching, especially Spirited away and Princess Mononoke- both Japanese animated.

.....

We can never be satisfied of what we have in front of us. There will always be something that keeps telling us that there will be better opportunities out there.
Sometimes you hate yourself for doing the wrong things, but these wrong things are part of your success.
Sometimes you hate yourself for wishing for something you can never have, and regretting why you want it in the first place. Something that will always be someone else's. Why suffer for nothing? Is it worth it? You know that it is definitely not worth it and it's not suppose to happen, but it did.
And memories are all that's left.
We can keep on hoping and hoping. And hoping but deep down inside, we know that it is really impossible for it to happen.

Charity event

Last week, me and my family went to a charity event for the disabled people. There were performaces- all by the disabled people from China. It was amazing how they can do such a great job. The blind pianist, the deaf singer and all the other performers....Truly amazing and entertaining...Even us as a capable person are not able to do such a great job...A great applause to them...

Great love story

Just finish watching Leung San Pak and Chuk Ying Toi...A great love story...The Chinsese version of Romeo and Juliet. This is the forth time I watched this movie and it never fail to make me cry everytime I watch it, especially the ending. It really makes me wonder, is there a love so great that can really change everything? Even worth dying for?

Anyway, had a great dinner tonight...Steamboat with the gang. Good food + dessert + good friends...

Missing you

It's agonising to miss somebody. It's saddening when you can't be together.
