Baking.....
Though not enough banana flavour and the shape a bit too flat, after about 2 hours mixing and beating the ingredients, I finally succeeded in making a banana cake. Not bad for first attempt at baking. Hehe....I know there is a LOT of room for improvement, will definitely practice till perfection.
My next attempt...Bailey's Cream Cheesecake...Sounds yummy?

Fish head noodle (with milk)
Place: Restoran Shui Kee @ Jalan Alor
Jalan Alor is a busy place comes night time. Day time (especially during lunch hour) it has a few shops opened. I've heard of this famous Fish Head Noodle (Yu Tow Mai) since I was working in KL few years back but I've never tried it before. I was here last Monday after renewing my passport but I had the Curry Chicken Noodle which is very tasty and full of santan....Fattening, I know but it tastes really good. Today, I tried the Fish Paste (instead of fish head) noodle with milk (evaporated milk). I would say that it's nice and errmmm....milky...Hehe...We ordered Tom Yam Fish Head as well. Not to spicy and sour. Just nice for a rainy Monday morning.
And I think my favourite drink at the moment is ambra with asam boi. Cheers....

Perak trip 2007
Basically covered most parts of Perak last weekend in just 2 days. Started off with a dimsum breakfast at Taman Connaught at 6am....
Then started our journey and reached Sungkai's hotspring and wasted no time in getting our feet wet in hot water.....First time I tasted egg boiled in natural hotspring.
Then we had lunch in Ipoh. What else to eat than Ipoh's famous hor fun, nga choi (tauge) and chicken.
Proceeded to visit the many famous caves in Perak - Kek Lok Tong, Sam Poh Tong and lastly, dropped by at Tasik Lang, which is famous because it is surrounded by mountains. Really really peaceful here. Unfortunately, we did not get to take to ferry to the small, man-made island as it was raining.
The we journey to Taiping to Chai Yee's po po house. We stayed there for the night. Went to Taiping Night Safari. Well, compare to A Famosa's Night Safari, Taiping's is not as good as it was too dark everywhere. Even the animals are harder to spot as the names of the animal and the cages are too dark. But it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Woke up early next morning and proceeded to have breakfast - Bak Kut Teh..near Taiping lake....Taiping lake is a sight to behold. It was really really scenic and breathtaking. We actually took a walk around the whole lake but it was a good exercise after the hefty breakfast. We started our journey home but not without stopping at Bidor for lunch. As usual, my favourite is the Duck Thigh mee......Delicious....
As some of you gals and guys found something common during our Melaka trip previously, well i found something common as well for this trip....Hehehe....Enjoy...

Almost unlimited flow of beer (compare the prices to here)
Laman padi...I like the settings here...
Beach from Four Seasons....deserted and so peaceful...
Four Seasons...I wish wish and wish I can get to stay here one night....
Finally I reached the top....view from top of cable car ride...
Cute deers and rabbits that I spent a lot of time playing with them...Miss you little fellas...

Porridge Steamboat
After 4 hours of singing out loud...at Greenbox, Jusco Selatan, we went for a steamboat. Porridge based and 'pig-bone' soup (in Cantonese) at The World of Dim Sum in Taman Minang. Both tasted good....
Dettol, anyone?
Have you ever done something so stupid that you still can't believe that you did it? Something that you will still laugh your ass off when you think of it. Well, I did, on one peaceful night...
What actually happened was - I thought the small bottle of Dettol is the small bottle of sample Listerine and thus...you know what happened....(I still can't believe I was so blur blur)
The taste was horrible....People, if you plan to commit suicide, please don't choose this method. My tongue was numb at that time and I do not know how much water has been used to rinse. The only thought in my mind is - what if I can't taste anything anymore? I still have so many good food I have not eaten.
Funny, isn't it?
Kids, do not try it at home.....

10 annoying habits on the road...
1. Not turning on signal lights. Whether it's changing lanes, or most importantly when turning into a junction as there are cars waiting to comeout.....Be considerate...
2. Tail-gating or 'cucuk'ing ...even when the car in front is already driving at 120 kmp/h. Sometimes I got so annoyed, I purposely slow down to piss you tail gaters...muahaha
3. Driving 'on' the divider lines.....Come on....be sure whether you want to be in this lane or that lane and not on both....
4. Picking nose, popping zits, and other personal things are best be settled in the toilet and not while waiting at the traffic light
5. Using high beam or white lights...try to be the driver in another car and you will know how they feel...
6. Touch and Go literally means that you TOUCH AND GO....and not reach the booth, search for your TNG card, wind down the window, touch, wind up the window again and then only go....
7. Do not double park your car, even if it is just a while as you do not know how much you are blocking the traffic
8. Use your honk wisely and not UNNECESSARY
9. Do not stare, I mean really STARE at the car beside you at the traffic light.....this is especially for van or lorry drivers...sometimes just feel like showing them the middle finger...
10. MOTORCYCLISTS, please do not whiz in and outin between cars...I know you are good but no one is interested to see how good you are on the road...
